This is iPhone SE 24 and the latest iOS. The format of the book is epub. I opened the book, read a little and realized that I don’t like it.

When I open a document or file with Dropbox, there is a delete button on the bottomline toolbar I can access on my iPhone 13 Mini running iOS 17.7 and the latest version of Dropbox. I'm not sure why you don't have access to the same options and expect none of us will be able to help you without additional details. Occasionally I have been unable to close a file and find it necessary to close Dropbox in the App switcher. Then it behaves normally when I reopen Dropbox.
