There is no such device as an iPhone SE 24. I suspect you probably
have the second generation SE which is often called an SE 2022.
Until you get more adept with the Dropbox app, I recommend you attempt
to locate the problem ePub book file on your device and delete it
using the Files app. If I were doing this on my Windows 10 computer,
I’d use the Everything Search utility to locate the file and delete it
from my Dropbox subfolder containing it with my desktop computer. I’m
unable to give you any other advice on the issue.

Please provide us with additional details including what device you're
using with Dropbox, what version of iOS you're running, what is the
source and format of the book which is always open and you're unable
to delete, and whether the book is being opened by Dropbox itself or
with another app Dropbox is accessing. When I open a document or file
with Dropbox, there is a delete button on the bottomline toolbar I can
access on my iPhone 13 Mini running iOS 17.7 and the latest version of
Dropbox. I'm not sure why you don't have access to the same options
and expect none of us will be able to help you without additional
details.

Rena, I was not sure from your post if the file is always open
when you open dropbox or if it is in the list of files that
usually shows up. Occasionally I have been unable to close a file
and find it necessary to close Dropbox in the App switcher. Then
it behaves normally when I reopen Dropbox.
