Janet, It’s great to hear that you were able to get the glasses working properly. They certainly make making and receiving phone calls much easier when synced with phone contacts. I tried the same thing as you—attempting to make a call by saying the phone number and received the same response from Meta. Unfortunately, this functionality doesn’t seem to be supported with the glasses at the moment. I’m hopeful that as Meta gathers more user feedback, they will address and resolve these limitations. One ongoing issue I’m experiencing is when I ask Meta to read a label or an address from my mail. It declines to read me the name on the envelope, citing privacy concerns. Interestingly, when I use my phone with Be My AI, it works seamlessly. I’ve also heard others share their experiences of locating items using the glasses. Could you explain how you accomplish this? I did go into the Bluetooth settings like you said, but I only had 2 options one was to activate or more info, so I swiped up and selected the more info option, and I then seen my contacts settings. So I went back into the Meta View App and found the calling and messages, and I turned that back on, Sure enough, it worked! I then ask Meta to call someone from my contacts, and the call went through, so I had Meta to call another person from my contacts, and sure enough that went through! It’s unclear whether the resolution came from resetting the glasses or the final reinstallation, but one of these steps made the glasses work as expected. Tip for confirming proper installation: To verify that the Meta View app is installed correctly, go to your iPhone's Bluetooth settings. Under "My Devices," locate the "RB Meta" entry and swipe up. On the next screen, the first item should be "Show Message Notifications." If the app wasn’t installed correctly, this option won’t appear. Ensure that all options on this screen are selected for proper functionality.
