Your only course is to call them back.

Or, change carriers, which is probably not a good choice at this point.

Subject: using Wi-Fi On A Xr Phone Question Please.

Hello Everyone,

I bought a new iPhone 16 Pro, I want to use my old XR phone for Wi-Fi calling.

I called my phone carrier T-Mobile after I tried turning on Wi-Fi calling on my
old XR phone, and I kept getting a message if I want to use Wi-Fi calling I
will need to call T-Mobile.

I called T-Mobile, and I asked them about this, they said they don’t see that I
ever had a XR phone with them.

I explained I had a XR phone for 6 years with them, and matter of fact, I told
them I’ve been with them as my phone carrier for 20 years.

So, after the rep kept putting me on hold, he finally told me they will need to
turn on the Wi-Fi from their end and that will take 24 hours, and he told me
that last Thursday.

I never got any text message from them, and I still can’t use Wi-Fi calling on
my old XR phone.

Thank you all.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Kindly,

Janet
