Janet, Richard provided you with a direct link to the News app on the App Store. Why don't you just call Apple Accessibility and ask them to help you.

Hello Alan and All, I’ve spent so much time on trying to find this icon or app, and still to no avail. I followed the instructions to find the Apple News on my iPhone 16 Pro, but again, to no avail. I went into the app store like the instructions said to do, and all I seen there was Apple News advertising, well, I didn’t want to download that. Under that option, I seen Apple Magazines and under that was the open option in which told me that was the app I was reading for the last several days. So, I doubled tapped on that, and that took me to the exact same place Siri takes me to, in which shows me the news I’ve been reading for the last several days. As that had the magazines and news papers I’ve been reading for the last several days. So that still didn’t answer my question, where is the News App on my phone, it doesn’t look like I have that Apple News Plus on my phone though. I want to be able to pick my favorite newspapers, I want to be able to select the notifications I want to have sent to my phone. There are several different options I can pick with this app, but I can’t find the app on my phone to select what I want. There is no icon or app on my phone that says news or App News plus. So, I still can’t find it. I went to the Library App, and I typed in App News, I typed in News, I typed in Apple News, but still that app is not on my phone, although that took me to the exact same place Siri takes me. I am thinking because I am on a trial bases, maybe that is why the full app is not downloaded on my phone. I will call Apple about this tomorrow, and ask them about this. This is a mystery! I’m suppose to pick out the papers I want to read, I am suppose to pick out the magazines I want to read, but I’m not getting that option, therefore, I am only getting the options Apple is sending to me, and I don’t want to read the same news over and over every day.
