Kathy, you are mixing up Control Centre and Settings. You said yourself that it used to be in Control Centre, but now you say you go to Settings and you will not find it there. Bring up Control Centre by touching the top of the screen and swipe down a little, same as when you swipe up from the bottom to go to your home screen, but do so after touching the top. Alternatively, you can touch the status bar and swipe from the bottom up the screen with 3 fingers; either one of these gestures will bring up Control Centre.
