Is the phone that has the problem an older phone, so, the problem does
not show up on the newer phones?

I have been doing things like accessing a web site, or entering info
in an app when a text came in and heard my alert with no issues.

Hello All when I am doing something on my phone for some reason I do
not hear the notification sound if someone sends a text message. I
noticed that I have a message because if I check messages the phone
tells me how many unread messages or new messages I have. I’m
wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue and if so do you
know what’s going on? It only happens if I am doing another task on
the phone at the time that the test message comes in.
