Hi.

What I'll describe goes back as far as I can remember, and that's over 10
years. For some odd reason, and I can't figure out what I might be doing, the
roter on my iPhone and Apple Watch keeps wanting to switch to speaking rate.
Perhaps I want to read something by word, and when I try to do so, Voiceover
either speaks very slow, or it's so fast that I can't understand it. I set the
rotar to what I want, and all is well. Now, my logical thinking says that when
I need whatever, the Roter should be where I left it, but nope. It's back to
speaking rate. Honestly, this isn't something that will affect the Universe as
we know it, and it's easy enough to get where I want, but I am curious about
this.

Just me rambling on.
