No. I just added a phone number to an existing contact yesterday, and I did not have any problem there.

But for the numerical characters in the actual phone number field, we're back to the way it was several years ago. There is no consistancy. Moving back and forth in the field with up/down single finger swipes is inconsistent as is the attempt to delete mistakes. After literally a half hour, I was able to enter one single phone contract.
