Well, I hadn't even considered no passcode since to me not having a passcode 
seems to be a disaster waiting to happen.

actually  Siegard, , you are slightly in error here, if you don't have a 
password set up for your phone, then you can be automatically updated if you 
have automatic updates enabled. I get updated regularly, as long as my phone 
has enough battery and I have Wi-Fi connection. as for  Siri's  intelligence, 
speaking personally, having experienced quite a few of the different AI 
offerings, I like stupid Siri! She's perfectly enough for me, and offers to go 
to ChatGPT when there's anything a bit more tricky… Beware AI, I see such 
horrible potential for it!
