I want to start with a big shout out to the great Be my eyes volunteers.  I never needed to use the app but I know it has made life much easier for people with vision related challenges. My question is whether a be my eyes volunteer can help you locate things like a bus stop as IRA people can do? You might also get someone on the west coast who’s a night owl and are still awake and ready to assist you. If you’re not that lucky, you might land someone from the UK or Australia or something like that because their day time starts either much earlier or much later than our day time, depending on where the volunteer is located. I’m on the west coast so I’m 3 hours behind you, but between the west coast and east coast, folks here can crash at any time in between 8 pm pst and 12 pm pst, so this window is a bit tricky because someone on one of the coasts is crashing or getting ready to crash, that is, if they are not a night owl working swing shift or a grave yard worker. I think a similar thing happens between the hours of 6 am eastern and noon eastern because there is usually someone waking up somewhere in that window on one of the coasts. If you get right in between those crazy windows, you’ll probably get someone from the other side of the English speaking world instead, if anyone is avalible to assist in many cases.
