Typically you first need to choose what sort of account you want to add, e.g. Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, Exchange etc. Since you have a Gmail email address, I assume you are adding that account, once you picked Gmail, you should only need to enter your Gmail email address and then the password. That of course is assuming you are not still using the POP3 protocol, not sure if Gmail still allows it, but if it still is possible and that is what you use, then I would highly recommend you change this and start using IMAP.
