No advantage at this point. I assume that if a new iOS update comes out and you want to update via iTunes rather than via WiFi on the phone you may need the latest iTunes.
Given how unhappy you are with iOS 6 I highly recommend that you don't upgrade until it's absolutely necessary for some reason as I predict that you will not like it. I do believe that once you update you may not be able to downgrade even though it's easy to find an installation file for iTunes 10.6, but there is a message during the iTunes 11 installation that it updates your library and I have a feeling that this update may make your library incompatible with previous iTunes versions. I can't say this with 100% certainty, but I thought I mention it since you have such a big issue with the fact that you can't downgrade from iOS 6 back to iOS 5 and as far as I can tell there really is nothing in iTunes 11 in terms of groundbreaking new features that you don't have in iTunes 10.
