| let's start from the top. Are you talking about tapping back to someone's message? Or are you talking about doing something with a message you are writing? There is only something to the left of the edit box when you are writing, which is now the Add button,. If you are wanting to tapback to someone, you just flick up or down until you get to tapback and double tap. Filicking down gets to tapback faster. Once on tapback, double tap, and you have things like heart, thumfbs up, etc., and if you keep flicking right, you will eventually get to add custom tapback. This is a bit differeat than previous iOS I think. If an audio demo would help, let me know.

Dear Richard,
There was in 26 to the left of "add". I have tried
and I can't find it it in 27. I will keep looking.

tap-back.
If not, there will be a more option, double tap and that will show

I also found out when opening a message to
respond that "record audio" is the default not the "dictate".
Go into setting, apps, messages. It will say
"show record audio by default. Tap the "show dictation" and it will revert
to dictation.
Also I cannot figure how to get the "tap back"
menu to show up. It was previously to the left of the "add" button and one
downward flick to reach "tap back".
Any help appreciated.

In Speech settings, when you touch Alex to get focus on it,
flick up or down to delete and double tap.

Hi all I just updated to ios 27. And
since doing the update the alex voice sounds funny. How do I deleate the
voice and try re downloading it? Many thanks. The pitch and stuff sounds
off. I tried looking in the pitch controle but still couldn’t get it
right so I figured that it would be best to start fresh but am not shure
how to get rid of the alex voice and re download it. Many thanks. From
