Hello, I have an IPhone SE & am on the current version of IOS 26.
When I plug my phone in to charge, it no longer says charging. I generally touch the top right corner of the apps screen & it will say 50 Percent charged, charging or something like that. Now it just says whatever percent it is at & does not say charging even if plugged in. Last night it charged to 80%. & an hour later it was still 80% even though still plugged in. Since it charged last night I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the cord. I tried different outlets with the same result. I also tried plugging in other things in the outlet I usually use & they worked fine. I have not changed any settings on the phone. Although I generally stop at 80%, I left the phone plugged in. Even though it did not say charging it was at 100% this morning. Is there some other way to check that the phone is charging other than waiting to see if the percentage changes? Is this announcement something that could have been turned off somehow?
