Hello, I have the lifeproof case for my iPhone 5. I am very satisfied with the case. You do not have to take the phone out of the case to charge the phone. You simply open the charging port door, and plug the charging cable into the charging port. Once the phone is charged, you remove the cable from the charging port, and close the charging port door. I have not had any trouble using the phone with the headphone jack cover screwed into place correctly. Voiceover comes out of the speaker without any problems when the headphone port cover is screwed in. Kolby
