Hi Don,

If you use iTunes Match iTunes 11 should integrate a bit better and it
seems to run a bit more efficiently. Apart from that there isn't too much
new. If you enable the side bar, make sure you check the songs view and then
enable the column browser it does look mostly like iTunes 10. During the
upgrade your library's format is updated, I don't think it actually does
anything to your songs, apps etc., but to the database file and so
downgrading is probably easiest if you made a backup copy of your entire
iTunes folder or at least the iTunes Media folder. If you do that I don't
see why you couldn't remove iTunes 11, reinstall iTunes 10 and then put your
iTunes Media folder back. Probably better to be save and copy the entire
iTunes folder. However, there definitely is no "roll back" function although
I assume you could do a System Restore to before you did the upgrade and
that should put your system back into the state it was in before the update.
Probably a good idea to set a manual restore point rather than to rely on an
automatic one.

Having said this, I don't mind iTunes 11 for what I do with it which isn't
all that much. If you use Jaws 14, Jonathan has done another super job with
the first part of iTunes 11 with Jaws 14 FS Cast.

Regards,

Sieghard

I look at it differently. My question would be is there any way to roll
back to version ten using Windows Seven?

Hi.

To me it is a great improvement, that ping has been removed.

It is not so difficult to get ITunes 11 to work. My problem was that I
should check songs to get the column browser to work again, that took me a
long time to figure out, It is/was not logical to me.

Best regards Annie.

I was just wondering if there is any reason to update to iTunes 11? I am
getting along pretty well with the iTunes 10 version I am using. It seems
there is so much work involved in making 11 work like version 10 so why not
just keep version 10?

Are there any improvements in version 11 that matter when using Jaws. I am
using Jaws 14 on a Win 7 64 bit laptop.

Thanks,

Sherrie Gosling
