Hi Candy, I am not exactly sure how your contacts and email sync/update. I use Hotmail/Windows Live which is now called Outlook.com and personally I think it's the way to go because of Exchange Active Sync. If I add a new contact or phone number on my phone and check the contact a couple of minutes later in Outlook on my computer it's usually updated already.
Of course I realize that changing emails is involved and you may want to stick with your Yahoo address although I did it over time and just updated those websites where I used my email as a log-in or where I would get newsletters and it wasn't too bad. As a user of Outlook on the computer as well as Skype I also look forward to the upcoming Skype integration, I believe it is already integrated on the Outlook.com web interface, but I don't really use it a lot so I'm not sure how that works, but I do look forward to at some point being able to dial Skype contacts right from Outlook. If you edit a contact and a phone number goes in as "Mobile" by default, you just have to double tap on the label, e.g. Mobile, Home, Work etc. and a list of available labels pops up. This way if it's Mobile but you want it to be "Home", just double tap mobile and then double tap "Home in the list that comes up, then tap Done in the top right and it's changed. Thanks so much. You are a life saver. Now, if you don't mind, I have one more question. If I had a contact, or an e-mail address or something like that through my computer instead of on my phone, can I immediately sync it to the phone, or do I have to wait until i cloud backs it up. My reason for asking is this. Yesterday I added a home telephone number to one of my contacts. It took all day before it got into my phone. Another thing is I find it difficult to add a home telephone number on the iPhone itself. It automatically puts the number as the cell number, and I have a hard time adding additional numbers. I'm sure it is something that I am doing wrong. Thanks so much. The songs are safely in my phone for Saturday. ------------------------------ On Sun, Dec 30, 2012 11:20 AM CST Sieghard Weitzel wrote: >Hi Candy, > >If your song is already in iTunes, do this: > >1.
