Oh, well, when you get the phone, at the apple store or where ever you buy the phone from, have them set it up for you! The apple store will help you set up your apple id and you can always call apple care and they will help you! I recomend to buy apple care plus, insureance for your phone and they have one to one for you to have classes! I would not do it this one to one unless there are vo specialest where you are. I think you can come in for help and someone should help you, at least they did form me! The first thing you will want them to do is 1 turn on voiceover they can do this from utilities, settings, general, accessibility, voice over,.
in the same place there is voice over practice!
2. Go back the general and scroal to tripple click home and set for voice over, this is good if you need some sighted to help you with the phone! 3 Have them turn off the screen, turn brightness to 0 and turn off auto brightness! THis will make the battery last longer! 4 write down your apple id, you will need it to download apps for the phone! 5 If you can get getting start with the iphone from NBP! I think they are at of the braille copies but you can still get in electronic format or cd.

YOu can always e-mail me and I can help by e-mail or skype: cynterline, The most important thing, don't stress about the phone, everyone takes some time to get used to it, practice makes perfect! Heather
