Hi Tessa,

I can confirm what Chris said, when I was still using POP back in the Middle
Ages I had the same problem with my laptop when I was not at home. I am not
sure if there is an easy solution other than switching to a more modern
protocol such as IMAP or Exchange Active Sync which of course means using
gmail or Outlook.com (or Apple's email service, of course).

I have been using full Exchange for my business email and Windows Live which
now is called Outlook.com for my personal email and the thought of going
back to POP is almost like going back to dialup after using high-speed
internet.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Can't send mail

Hi:
My 4s will receive mail when I'm not on wireless but won't send it. It sends

it fine once I connect to my wireless here at home, but that kind of defeats

the point LOL as I want to be able to send mail when I'm out. It's a pop
account and I checked the settings but can't figure what might be wrong.
Any thoughts? Thanks for any assistance
Tessa
