Hi, With any barcode apps for the phone, it will always present difficulty in finding the barcode on a label. That's because it is using the camera and not an Omni directional barcode scanner. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a real good solution for a BT barcode scanner out there yet. There are times that I can find the barcode very quickly, and other times that I totally give up and dig out my ID Mate to capture the barcode. There are basic techniques such as finding the seam on the can and go just to the left or right at the bottom to find the barcode on a can. A box will usually have the barcode on the bottom of the box, but this is not written in stone and I have found a barcode on a box on the side. A package like rice will have the barcode on the back. In this situation, I find the seam in the middle and try all four corners for Digit-Eyes to scan the barcode. I know it can become frustrating, but unless you have an Omni directional barcode scanner, will you be able to find the barcodes with ease and in a timely manner. HTH.
