I use red laser. It lets you scan bar codes and QR codes. It's a free app. Sometimes though I get a bit frustrated when I can't find where the bar code is. Is Digit-Eyes any better for finding a barcode, for example, not meaning to pick on a particular app, the Amazon app? I have only tried the Amazon app for barcode scanning and struggled to find barcodes with it but it would be a great portable solution.
