Hi Patti,
Not a stupid question at all. Location Services used to be on the top-level
Settings menu, but it was moved when IOS 6 came along. I was confused by
this as well.
To find it, go into Settings as you usually do, than double-tap on Privacy.
Location Services should be at or near the top of the list.

That would be awesome if you're right! It could also be coincidental,
though. Also, perhaps it's just me but I simply cannot imagine location
data
helping to deliver results in a concrete way. I suppose your requests
could
be routed through nearby servers, reducing latency a bit, but I really
can't
imagine that this is what is happening. The developers haven't replied to
any queries about this, and I imagine if it really did help the
recognition
results, that they could use that as a huge selling point for the app.

that it was red and blue. Wen I turned on location services on, it
told me what was on the shirt. It said, "Mind,the Gap." With location
services on, I got more accurate results. ,i decided to keep location
services turned on. I hope this helps others decide what option they will
choose.
