It's possible she is backing up more then you are. Look in settings, usage. There you will see iCloud. How much storage she has used and how much she has remaining. It's a good bet she has more things checked then you do. To find out what she has checked to backup to the cloud, go to settings,iCloud. There you can see what she has checked off. For some reason, whenever I try to back up my daughter's phone, it says not enough storage avaible. I have more apps on my iCloud storage than she does. Does anyone know why this could be happening?
