Christopher, you're exactly right. My brother and I made an unnecessary trip to the Apple store and while waiting, I had my sighted brother look at the switch and he said the same thing you just did. I'm kicking myself for not getting the ATT rep I spoke with to be clearer about which way the switch moved. Oh well, I bought a screen film pack while at the store and got the Apple guy to install it so the trip wasn't wasted.
