I find it rather amusing that a new update comes out just 1 week after 6.1 is released and jailbroken. This smells of Apple trying to stay ahead of the jailbreakers despite saying that the main reason for this is to fix some Japan map issues. <grin>.. The same thing happened when iOS 4.3.3 was released and jailbroken. Suddenly 4.3.4 and 4.3.5 came out very soon after and yet they didn't really add anything other than plugging up the unofficial jailbreak hole.

So, to answer your question, best thing to do, especially if you are not jailbroken, is update and stay with the latest. Or, you can wait for others to update first and report on their findings. As for me, I think I'll be sticking with 6.1.

Has anyone downloaded this update yet? Just wondering about the fixes,
and whether it’s worth doing. Thanks in advance.

God bless!
