Hi, The Jailbreak works on the latest version again (which I believe was only releaste yesterday for the 4S) but it's a lot of work to update and then Jailbreak again for no stated reason by Apple.

So, to answer your question, best thing to do, especially if you are not jailbroken, is update and stay with the latest. Or, you can wait for others to update first and report on their findings.
