Hope it helped. You have the same problem as me. Don't know how old you
are, but I am a fossil! (hahahahaha) Younger folks would know right out of
the box!

Thanks, Reggie, for those instructions. I couldn't find give up so I was
restarting the app. I was playing with Braille though. I'll try again. I've
finished puzzles, but not many. I get stuck on celebrities, especially
recent ones. :)

As for Word to Word, unless I'm missing something obvious, it's completely
inaccessible.

As for Word Ladder, which I love.

1. Open the app and in the middle of screen you will find a small list
with "Play" at the top. Double tap.
2. Touch the top of the screen and begin flicking to the right. What
you want is "new game every day" or something like "starter games," very
obvious. There will be others like the orange pack which is all the games
to buy and other packs to buy, but you want the ones that have the daily
puzzle.
3. 3. Tap on the daily games. Now you are given a number of puzzles
by date and one comes in every day. Tap on one of these.
4. 4. In the middle of the screen will be the name of the game such as
"heads up" or "water" and just below it says something about "keypad". Tap
on that and it brings up clues at the top of the screen.
5. 5. On the right-hand side run your finger down and unless there are
varying numbers of letters in the answers you will find how many letters in
each word.
6. 6. Read the first clue at top of the screen and at the bottom of
the screen is the keyboard to enter in your answer. There will be a sound
to tell you the answer is correct. The next answer will be the word you
just made and change one letter to give the answer to the next clue.
Sometimes you will not know an answer. Find a clue you know the answer to
and tap it and put it in. Then you can work backward or forward from there.
By the way, I have never finished a puzzle completely. Right above the
keyboard is a quit button. If you double tap it, at the bottom of the
screen are buttons to continue, give up, or finish later. These are
obvious, and when you "give up" it will show you the whole puzzle and
answers. If you want to then go onto the next game, there is a "next"
button in the bottom right corner I think or the upper right. Hope this
helps. Great game and very addictive.

Subject: Can anyone give Quick Directions for the use of Word to Word and
Word Ladder

Hi All:

I downloaded these games and am at a loss as to how to get started with
either of them. They both go into silent mode when I open the apps. I also
downloaded another game called Word Wall which does the same thing. Any
help or podcasts on how to play these would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tamara
