Hi, a couple of reasons I think. First, you usually get the app or, whatever your testing for free. Second, its cool to have something before everyone else, although you are not permitted to talk about it. Lastly, for me at least, It is a good feeling knowing that your comments and suggestions might help improve a product for thousands of people.
