Hi neil,

I just went through this because I had a few apps which I didn't want to be
in the Notification Center nor did I want any sort of Alerts or Banners. I
went into the notification settings for the app, did the 1-finger flick up
and changed it from Banner to No Alerts, then I backed out of it and here it
was back on Banners. I discovered that if it is on Banners, you have to
double tap on that first, almost like unselecting it, then flick up to
Alerts or No Alerts and then double tap the back button. Give this a try and
after you are back in the main list just check if Skype now says "Alerts"
instead of Banners.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: RE: Does a 2 finger double tap end a Skype call

Hi Jonathan, and thanks for this. I can't seem to turn on alerts there. It
keeps saying banners selected no matter what I click on. I can turn alerts
on and off, but I don't see a way to check alerts rather than banners.

Anyone?

Neal

Hi Irene. I find Skype is much easier to handle if you go into Notification
Center and set the notification style to alert, rather than banner. This
way, when a Skype call comes in, no matter what app you happen to be working
in at the time, a dialog will pop up with buttons to easily get to Skype.
