I will soon be a new user to Skype on an iPhone, what do I need to know to get started, my nephew suggested this because he uses it a lot to save his minutes but I have not used Skype since bout 2007 on a computer, with less than stellar results, once the reason I was using it was gone I stopped using it and it is not on this computer. I have the GW Micro product but have never opened or used it on the computer.

I find Skype is much easier to handle if you go into Notification Center and set the notification style to alert, rather than banner. This way, when a Skype call comes in, no matter what app you happen to be working in at the time, a dialog will pop up with buttons to easily get to Skype.
