I am not solidly in one camp or the other. I use fleksy sometimes and think it is a good app that adds value some times. I want to address the question why you have to guess in the first place. I think that someone asking this question is not quite getting the point. When you type on the normal on screen keyboard you are also initially guessing where the correct letter is as well. Then you hear if you were correct or not. That is unless you always start at the same point and start sliding your finger until you get the correct key. That may be inefficient. So assuming you place your finger on the regular keyboard where yo think the letter is that you want to enter and then adjust for any error you have made once you get the feedback of what you actually touched, with fleksy you also start by guessing, just like described above with the regular keyboard, accept with fleksy you can be incorrect and still get the correct result of the word you wanted in the end or the correct result being offered to you as one of the possible choices. So if you wanted to type the word good, you could in reality have touched the letters f p p s and still end up with good.
