Right, but airplay isn't wifi only. Everyone, (including us when we first tested the speaker,) assumes that you need wifi to have an airplay supported device. This, is not the case; which we discovered.
You can play to it, and that is all. No hot spot no nothing. As a result, no configuring necessary.
