I don't think everything that's accessible to the blind is going away, and actually, I never found Google Reader all that accessible. I usually used other clients that synced with Google Reader, like Feedller.

That is reallly really unfair!!!!!!!!!! I don't like it.......
don't like it......... But anyways, I think that news feed is another
one, you can use. I have never used it personally, but I have several
friends who rely on it. If you want, I can find the info about it and
post it in this list. I can't right now, though. Sleepy here......
Thanks! HTH!!

Shocking indeed! I think the major problem here is the fact that while
there are many fine news reading apps for desktop and mobile, none of
them really sync with anything other than Google Reader. Hopefully,
prior to July 1, this will shift and software will be updated. I'm
sure there's a loyal enough base of newsreader users that some
solution will be found. Still, wow.

Talk about a major bummer.

Can anyone recommend accessible alternatives to Reader? Something that
would
work with apps for i-devices too? I'm currently using Feedller on boht my
iPad and iPhone. I've got over two hundred and fifty subscriptions and
even
though I use my pc a lot, I've gotte to the point where I reach for my
phone
or iPad to sift through the various rss entries as much as I do through
the
computer. This is really going to suck.
