Hi Denise, To delete a note, find it in the list of notes, double-tap and hold, and swipe right. Then choose Delete when asked to confirm whether to delete the note.
You have to be in the note in order to rename it. With the note open, press Option-R on a qWERTY keyboard or dot 8 with R on a braille one. An edit box will appear where you can create a new name. Then press Enter, I believe. I haven't had any notes disappear (knock on wood). Did you move them to a different folder using your computer, by any chance?
