Hi Philip,

Yes, something like this could work, but it doesn't solve the problem of
distance, light and having reference points and edges which help you to make
sure the phone is lined up and square to your text. The Standscan is a great
idea and I immediately got a fantastic scan result when I scanned a page of
text, certainly way beyond anything I was ever able to get before.
