Chris is correct about the SIMM cards being of a different size. I suppose if you have the adapter that allows you to place an iPhone SIMM into an "late model" cell phone such as a Nokia N75, etc., you could in theory copy your contacts from your Nokia to the now available SIMM card. But . . .

Here's what I found when I managed to get my contact files from my Nokia 6650 to my PC and then to my iPhone, the format for the Nokia is not supported on the iPhone. I suppose there is a conversion program of some sort, but I sure don't know what it is.

I was under the impression that the Nokia N96 took a standard sized SIM
card, while the iPhone 4S took a smaller SIM card, so you can't just
move a SIM card from the N96 to the 4S.

1. Open up Contacts on your Nokia phone and select all contacts;
transfer them to your SIM card. Go to Contacts, Options, Mark All.
  Then go to Options, Copy, Copy Contacts and select SIM as your choice
of memory.
2. Remove the SIM from your Nokia and place it in your iPhone.
3. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Import SIM contacts.

    hello all,
    does anyone know of a quick and easy way of transferring contacts
    from my nokia N96 to an iPhone 4S?
    at a guess, I have about 170 contacts to transfer across.
