While it's true that the formats the two phones use for contacts are different, both can read VCF files. That is to say, iTunes and Nokia PC Suite both know how to handle VCF files. VCF is a universal standard for electronic contacts.

But . . . Here's what I found when I managed to get my contact files from my Nokia 6650 to my PC and then to my iPhone, the format for the Nokia is not supported on the iPhone.
