Hi, an elementary question I am sure, but I have had mixed answers. Some say that Syncing copies things from iTunes to the phone. And transfer purchases copies from the device to iTunes. Trouble is, this is not my experience. When I sync, I am asked if I want to transfer voice memos from my device to iTunes. So, it is obviously not just transferring things from iTunes to the phone.
My original understanding was the sync went both ways and transfer purchases copied information about the things I purchased on my device into iTunes. Anyone care to enlighten me on this mystery?
