Hi, It doesn't take a lot of force to perform this gesture. Just be sure you have two fingers about half an inch apart or more and gently tap twice. Practice by using it to start and stop music playing, or go to Practice Gestures in the VoiceOver settings.
If you have the phone up to your ear during the call, you can hang up by double-tapping the Power button.
