Hi all,
I'm using an iPhone 4 with IOS 6.13; not sure what version of Facebook is on my
device as I haven't updated it in quite some time. Anyway, I was listening to a
ball game using At Bat tonight and all of a sudden I was getting Facebook
notifications every minute or so and the notifications were driving me nuts.
Since I rarely use Facebook, even on my PC, if I want anything to do with
Facebook, I want it on my terms, which means I don't want notifications
regarding conversations that I care nothing about intruding on my baseball game
or anything else, for that matter. Facebook is not appearing in my notification
center, which is fine by me. I can't get the notifications to shut off. Short
of turning off VoiceOver or uninstalling the Facebook app, what's the best way
to get rid of them? If I set the notification style so that there are no
alerts, will that get rid of the banners, too?

Thanks for any tips.

Tom
