I'd like to have two devices so that when I am listening to a radio program I would not be interrupted by phone calls.

My thought that if the mini was also a phone, that would eliminate one device. Sense I've never even touched an iPad I'm just assuming the mini would just be an over grown iPhone. My other thinking was it being larger, would also be easier to type on and possibly eliminating the need for an external keyboard. If I'm doing my email on my iPhone, I use my Amazon Basics Bluetooth keyboard to enter in the text.
