The new Victor Reader Stream does have internet access and the maker, Humanware
says more will be added this year.. They did some how manage to keep the
price down to that of the Victor Reader Stream 1. The 2 is said to be 28
percent smaller then the 1 but has much more volume etc. My thinking is, why
give it internet access if they don't have any plans other then to just let you
download NLS books directly which brings it around to the thought of
synchronization. Still, it's an intriguing prospect.

  Hi,

This would require whatever device you use at home have an internet
connection. I don't own a stream or, any other type of blind centric reader
except the actual NLS player so, do these devices often have the ability to
connect to the internet?

it would be. Personally, I'd just like to have the option. Now if there were
a way in which you could start reading an NLS book on your iPhone, get home and
pickup where you left off on your reading device. They keep saying more
features will be added to the Victor Reader Stream 2. Be cool if they could
manage that.
