Hi Sieghar, I realized that I was using the wrong email account to respond to your post. I will try "Talking Google" with my CD jackets. I also want to see if this app will work on my LP album covers, so I can begin alphabetizing them. My kids got a hold of them and made a mess. This should be interesting to see if works.
Thanks. Hi Eileen, You might want to try Talking Goggles on CD's, I find it works great whenever I tried it. Hi Richard, I attempted to follow your suggestion to change the setting for white letters in reability, but I couldn't find "reability" in any of the setting options in Prizmo. Can you tell me where to find this setting, as there are plenty of situations where this setting could come in handy. One of them is with CD music jackets. Thanks in advance. Hi, I wrote Raphael at Prizmo about this very thing last week. If you go to the readability settings there should be an option for white letters. Try that and let us know how it goes. I was preparing for a presentation at a Macular Degeneration workshop and had a flyer that was white on green. Sadly, by the time I got his suggestion of using the different setting the flyer had gone to the recycle bin. Also, I would love not to have to listen to that voice, wish we could always default to VO if we want. I can understand developers introducing voices for mainstream apps, as people in general aren't using VO, but for apps designed with VO users in mind, I am not sure of the thinking. > > So, in short, Talking Goggles, for me, is more of a potential than > an actuality.
