If the pop-up takes half the screen, what is on the other half? Nada????

They just display information. For example, in the MLB At Bat
app, When you double tap on game day audio, instead of a new page
opening up displaying the games you can listen to, a windows taking
up about half the screen pops up on the right hand side displaying
this information. To get rid of it, the scrub gesture usually does
the trick. You can also touch anywhere out side the pop up window,
and you will hear something like, double tap to close window.
