Hi Tara, I assume your observations are based on what a sighted person told you?
If what you describe is happening and David's recommendation to press the home key while you connect it to iTunes doesn't help I think you probably do have to take it in to an Apple store where a genious can find out exactly what might be wrong with it. If I put it on the docking station, it turns on. It remains on for a short time. It offers text in many languages. One of the things it says in English is connect to i tones. When I try to to something on the phone, it dies again. The process of restarting happens only when phone is connected to the docking station. Only. Apple logo appears she and disappears when I connect it with my computer. My iPhone with latest ios was working yesterday. But today it became unresponsive. I switched it off then it wouldn't go past apple sigh. I factory restored it with I tunes and the restore was successful according to the message on my computer. Yet iPhone did not switch on. I then upgraded I tunes to the latest version. But the phone refuses to respond if I press any key including home power key combination. Is there anything I should try before going to a repair store. >> Your suggestions are very welcome. >> >> Typed with Fleksy >> >> >> >> Sent from my iPod >> No virus found in this message. >> Checked by AVG - www.avg.com >> Version: 2013.0.2904 / Virus Database: 3184/6353 - Release Date: 05/24/13 >> >> >> -- >> You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group. >> To search the VIPhone public archive, visit http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/. >> To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. >> To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected]. >> For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/viphone?hl=en. >> --- >> You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "VIPhone" group. >> To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to [email protected]. >> For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/groups/opt_out. >> >> >> >> -- >> You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group. > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group. > --- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "VIPhone" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to [email protected]. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/groups/opt_out. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
