depends on which model, some are tougher than others, and no, doubt they're that flimsy either, but risk is risk and it's a lotof wedge on the line if you fluff it, or drop it more specifically. And the aesthetics won't last long either, a big issue when trying to resell iProducts.
I have to agree with you though, they're designed to be SoooOoo deliciously tactile as to be caressed almost sensually. Ok, maybe i'm a perve, but for sure they are made to appeal this way.
