Scan a page from a book (remember those!) . Turns your phone into a photocopier Scanbox is also unbelievable portable. It packs down flat to fit in your bag. When you want to use it simply unfold and let the mini magnets to hold it together for you. All ScanBoxes come with a variety of color accents so you can change the color of the top of your ScanBox [Red, Blue, Pink, Green, Black, Orange]. The above description does not mention anything about a lighting source which probably means the Standscan is a better product for a blind person to use. I also remember how some people even complained about the $30 price tag for a Standscan Pro which does have LED lights. The Scanbox is $35 so unless it has lights or it is made from substantially more expensive/durable material I think the Standscan wins on price as well. Let's also not forget that Harry from Standscan was very accommodating and for almost 3 weeks offered a 10% discount and a free wall adapter when he first learned that the Standscan was a very useful gadget for blind iPhone users. If my Standscan wears out I don't see any reason at this point why I should buy another product where I don't know what I'm getting.
