Hi Sieghard and all,

I think both scanstand and ScanBox is very similar.
Scanbox got about 14 to 16 led lights, and scanstand got 12 i think. they both
have the option of external wall power for it i think. i'm not sure how much is
scanstand pro with the wall charger, but Scanbox is about $37.45 or something
like that for the box and the charger itself. Of course, if you are someone
funky, you can choose to change the top ccolour cover to suit your mood or your
iphone case.

I don't own a scanstan, therefore i can't tell you how great it is in a daily
usage. However, when i tried on David's scanstand, it seems like, compare to
the scanbox, the scanbox is somewhat more sollet than the scanstand.

That could also because, David has been having his scanstand for a long time,
and use it quite rapitly too, however, just by the feel of it, scanbox seems
more stable, and harder too.

I do understand that the scanstand got a glossy finish in the outside of the
box, which means, there're more chance for ware and tare, compare to a mad
finish.

The scanbox plus is around $35 i believe, and its really worth to pay another
$2 for the wall charger.

I'm sorry i can't tell you more about both products, as i dont own the
scanstand, and it is not fair for me to compare both products without using
both in a daily bases. I can only tell you what i saw in terms of the
scanstand, and what i think of the scanbox.

I guess, when you put them both together, i don't think you'll see that much
different beside one got glossy finish and one got rather a matt finish thru
and thru on them.
