I don't understand your question. The only messages that should show up
in your Trash folder are those messages you've moved there or the
messages you've deleted. Are you talking about a rule you've set up to
move certain messages into your Trash folder?
I don't know what you mean when you say all you get is unread. You'll
have both read and unread messages in your inh box and any other folder,
although typically you'll only have unread messages in your in box.

your issue. Voiceover clearly says if a message is "unread" and no message,
read or unread, should go to the Trash folder simply when you open the Trash
folder.
